Yoders and Vegas

So I started doing this Weight Watchers thing at work. We started the week before Thanksgiving. UGH ... The Tuesday on the week of Thanksgiving I lost a total of 4.4lbs. Woo hoo for me. That leaves me at 205.6. I think. I started out at 210. UGh So now I am trying to do a little more than just watching what I eat. Russ and I acquired the Total Gym from my mom a little while ago. You've seen that on TV ... it is the one with Chuck Norris. Day 1 - Upper Body - It seemed easy enough. The only reason why I even got on the damn thing was because D'Angels father had pissed me off. I needed to get my frustrations out some way. Day 2 - Lower Body - When I woke up ... I thought my arms were going to fall off of my body. I'm doing these with Russ. He is on the intermediate program and I am on the beginner. This was Thanksgiving Day. I ate so much that it was crazy that night so I have to make up for it today. Day 3 - Today - Upper Body again - HOLY HELL ... I feel like m...

So ... at what point do you realize your addicted to something? Isn't there a moment that you have to admit that you have an addiction? I thought I had an addiction that I needed therapy for LOL ... but what if you don't want help? Just hear me out ... I've been introduced to Twilight. I know I know ... it's a big deal to some and to everyone else they don't understand it. Well, I was one of those people who just didn't understand it. Until I forced myself to watch it with my Husband's ex wife and my very close friend Brandy. We went and I don't even remember the ride back home. I was in la la land. All I could do was think about the movie over and over again. I saw the movie again several times before it came out on DVD. I even went as far as to stand in line at Barnes and Noble at Macarthur Mall to be one of the first ones to buy the DVD!!!! WHAT THE HELL? Who does stuff like that? Well I do ... So here is where I stand. I just bought tickets...

So Thursday June 25, 2009 I had surgery to remove my Gallbladder. It was also the same day that Michael Jackson died. I was super medicated that day so I wasn’t totally aware of the situation during that Thursday or Friday. The days passed and I see all of these MJ tributes and videos … his music has been all over the radio. It’s just another person who died, right? I mean, I never saw him in concert or anything. Never really had anything of his other than a CD and my dad’s old vinyl. I’ve been going about my business just like a regular working person. Another celebrity died. We’ll remember him for a while … I guess. No big deal. I didn’t realize how much of an impact a man whom I’ve never met had on my life and my memories. I did record the VH1, MTV & BET shows that showcased and highlighted his music videos and career from the Jackson 5 to current. I went to iTunes and out of the top 10 most downloaded songs on iTunes … 4 of them are of M. Jackson. Wow … So I download so...

It't the 4th of July! Yay, a day to celebrate our freedom ... a day to say I AM AN AMERICAN AND PROUD OF IT. A day that we declared our freedom!!! We are free and we will fight to stay that way! AMEN!! Then ... have you ever had too many people doing too many things on the 4th of July? We rarely have too many things to do or places to see or people to visit on the 4th, but we've always managed to do something with someone. Can I say that I hate to fight to see the fireworks? OMG ... it is redunkulious! Is that even a word? It is now. Holy cow ... to sit in traffic for hours and hours, then to fight to get parking, then to sit for hours just until the fireworks start. Then to have to sit in the heat until it was time for the show to start. Ugh ... what if you have to go potty? I am not a super huge fan of the port-a-potty. I go and hover like there is no tomorrow. For some reason I feel like the icky stuff on the seat is jumping off of it to stick to my backside. ... m...

it's monday ... Russ is gone for the week ... it's gloomy outside ... Gabriel has the sniffles ... I can't have Pizza till Lent is over ... I think I need new glasses ... I forgot to put my wedding ring back on when I put lotion on my hands this morning ... I am wearing a purple shirt and brown eye make up because I didn't have time to do my make up at home and all I had in my to-go bag was brown ... I broke a nail this morning ... my pants are too high, they barley touch the heel ... my boss just gave me ANOTHER project ... I got hate mail from HR cuz I am late on Performance Reviews for 6 of my people, well, they weren't my people like a week ago but now it is my responsibility... our website is acting funky and the city offices are in a panic ... my hair isn't doing what I want it to do... one of my girls just told me she is preggers and her last pregnancy she was on bed rest for 6 months!!!!! ... my water from my water bottle tastes funny ... th...

So have you ever been given an assignment at school that you thought was impossible? Teacher says - Students ... write a 300 page report on the historyof curtins. Oh, and it's due a week from today. Well, I started this blog because a LOT of funny things happen in my house and I figured that things would happen so often that this blog would probably make it in the World Book of Records for the most OMG's.
