#14 A Seizure???

The morning of 1/23 I was extremely grouchy ... then with one phone call my entire day changed and my heart fell into my stomach.

Grouchy Carly was gone in .5 seconds around noon today. Got one of the worst phone calls. Gaby passed out today at Pre-school during story time. Thank God that he was sitting down when it happened and he did not hit his head. He was unconscious for nearly 5 minutes. We immediately took him to the Pediatrician an they suspect that he had a seizure.

Gabriel is doing just fine now, but we have to take him in for an EEG in a few weeks to learn more. The scary part is that the doctor suspects that he has been experiencing this for a while now and may not have though to say anything because he may think it is normal.

The test was today (on 2/2, and yes I know I'm behind on the writing) and he did well so now it is a matter of waiting or the results.

I stopped by Farm Fresh on the way home, today. Of course, I was on my bike.  I've gotten pretty used to weird looks. A girl walking around with a helmet and an Icon chest protector ... most of the time, they are looking for whatever guy I MUST BE riding with. Standing in line with my shampoo and hairspray, I heard a lady behind me say, "What do you ride?" Now, people who don't ride will say, "What kind of bike do you have?" ... Day 5

Day 5 has to be about my favorite memory. THIS IS SOOOOO HARD! I have such a wonderful and fullfilled life that for me to pick one wouldn't be very fair. I wanna say that my favorite memory has to be the day that D was born. I love my baby ... he is amazing and he saved my life. I've done everything I could to make him have a wonderful life (including marrying a white guy! LOL) ... He is my wonderful baby ... he has such a beautiful smile and he is the silliest of my children... He and I have been thru so much together! Even thru it all he loves me and I love him.

365 Days of Blogging!!

I'm gonna do it! Starting today! Today is day 1 (even though we are on day 11). I'll make up for it by posting 11 posts before the end of January! I still have time to catch up! Let's see if I can actually accomplish something! They say that if you do something for 21 days it becomes a habit correct? Get ready for the silly, the sad, the mad and the just plain ... WTF! From the Yod-Egas! :) I will also be enlisting the help of my husband and my boys during this year long event! :)
